Blade Services
Testing
We maintain an independent blade testing facility in California. At 200,000 square feet, we are fully equipped to pull loads that surpass design load specifications.
Inspections
Annual inspections of our ModBlades™include tightening the root attachment bolts repairing leading and trailing edges, detecting damage to the ModSkin™, lightning strike inspection, and cleaning up gearbox oil leakage.
Field Quality Control
We offer quality control engineers to oversee and manage erection and field repair crews. Safety managers will also be assigned to customer sites, and all of our work meets OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.132 and 29 CFR 1926 qualifications.
Repairs
Our warranty services include crane-less onsite composite repair, inspection, and maintenance, utilizing climbing and Germanischer Lloyd (GL) approved platforms.
Load Balancing
During the production process we offer embedded sensors to catalog the rotor set’s condition, lifetime fatigue, and warranty. Monitoring these types of metrics boosts project economics.
Analysis
In support of our blade customers, we analyze the monitoring data to provide diagnostic reports. Alerts and statistics are communicated regularly to keep the turbines healthy.
